Meet the Lomilos in Clintonville, WI May 11th!

Saturday, May 11th at 6:15p you are invited to Bethany Evangelical Free Church to meet Waffle and Dr. Val Lomilo. I will be serving with them in Uganda. Dr. Val is coming to the area to meet my family and friends. So I hope that you can make it!

We will be starting out the evening with a traditional Ugandan meal followed by an informal fellowship time where you can get to know them better. I'm excited that my friends will have a chance to meet some of the people that I will be serving with in Uganda.

Please enjoy this fun promo video. I can assure you there will be at least a couple more great stories told during the course of the evening. Plus you will learn more about the work that God is doing in Karamoja and how she sees me fitting in to it all.

Please let me know if you intend on coming. I know the people in charge of the food won't appreciate me telling them an attendance number of "1 to 200 people". Though if you are unsure if you can make it and don't RSVP... come anyway even if it's a last minute decision!!

The what age?

Fun observation as I'm going through my Biblical Survey course. In Genesis 4:22 it says "Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain, who forged all kinds of tools out of bronze and iron..."

It dawned on me that the evolutionists have a separation in the time periods that these metals were used. First though comes the cavemen in the Stone Age who are apparently just starting to rise above their primate ancestors and start using tools. Then comes the Bronze Age. Next is the Iron Age. Christian Jurgensen Thomsen a cultural evolutionist devised this dating system and stated "...bronze weapons did not occur with iron artifacts - so that each period could be defined by its preferred cutting material."

I just found this interesting in light of that Bible verse.
