The instant I saw this I thought of the stump in Nebuchadnezzer's dream in Daniel chapter 4. The stump that had the bands of iron and bronze that bound it. But yet it was still alive and re-grew later.
This is a beach stump from a tree that was cut down last year. It's interesting because it is only growing around the edges. There is no growth in the center.
So concludes any semblance of something interesting....
