I have begun to pray and ask God if I'm to bring awareness to adults on what their kids to online. Today someone I know asked me to look up their kids (to see if they had online profiles). Voila, there they were. Said person got to see their 14 yr old son's 'six-pack' proudly displayed on a picture online. Also the fact that his email address is posted for all to see.... after he had just told said parent that he hadn't given his email address to anyone. Fortunately his site (not even on MySpace) wasn't as bad as some I have seen. There are so many youth group kids that would completely break their parent's hearts (just look through my friends list).
I think it's time to start breaking some hearts.
At least that way people would be aware. As with an interesting article about internet dating that I just read on Josh Harris' website. I am seeing this applies with all things regarding the internet. Kids online, online dating, porn addictions.
Lack of awareness and the ease of keeping things under the radar and unknown to others.
Deception. This is NOT a Godly way of living.
So ends my point of view for the day............
