Are you a liar???

So how naive are people that call themselves Christians???

"My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked." I John 2:1-6

I am seeing people saying that they are Christians and then saying they are going to live with their boyfriend or girlfriend. Saying it's ok to lay on a bed together (though fully clothed) behind a closed door under the same blanket, while not being married. I see people saying it's ok to burn cd's even though it is breaking the law and is stealing. I see people hiding porn in their lives. I see people flirting with homosexuality. I see people getting completely drunk (even underage) and then going to church later in the week. I see people admiting their actions were sinful but then they say they can't help it, their just human. I see people doing drugs and going to church later in the week. I see people talking about living a holy life then listening to music that promotes and encourages sin. I see people giving God glory for things and then agreeing with evolution. I see people justifying items that give the appearance of evil. I see people calling someone who stood up for Christ prejudice or hateful just because their wrong actions were brought in to the Light. I see people talking about how much they love their Lord and then taking His name in vain... or using other vulgar language. I see people having sex outside of marriage and justifying it. I see people saying they can't stop sinning because they are just human. I see people saying it's wrong to have sex before marriage but then promoting condoms.

How big is your God?? What did Christ really die for?? Are we just staying a step ahead of the world or are we going to look at Christ as our standard??? Are we going to keep living this life as if it is our own or are we truly going to surrender to Christ?? It isn't a one time act and 'poof' it's all good. Die to Christ daily.

I Corinthians 15:31

Are you Christian in your words only??? Or are you actually living as Christ... walking as He walked. Stop playing games. The luke warm will be spewed out of His mouth. Revelation 3:16

Are you reading your Bible daily??

This is the only way we can truly get to know our Lord and Saviour. He is the very Author of the Book. What a better guide. Why are you considered way out there and a Christian weirdo if you read your Bible daily. This is just something that we are asked to do as a Christian. Ephesians 6:10-24
