Because of my support raising travels I'm not at church to tell people about this event. So I'm using video instead. Then everyone else gets to enjoy them as well! Here is the second promo video with snippets of their story of their traditional wedding.

Please enjoy this second promo video highlighting different aspects of their traditional wedding. If you missed the first video, it can also be found on my YouTube channel.
The evening will start out with a traditional Ugandan meal. We will be sharing this meal with the Forge Youth Group who will be breaking their 30 Hour awareness fast. During the previous 30 hours they will have slept outside in cardboard boxes, completed various community projects, and raised support for World Vision.
Come hear about the Lomilo's three day long traditional Karamojong wedding and learn what God is doing in this region where I'm raising support to go live and work.
I'm excited for my family and friends to have a chance to know this part of the team that I will be serving with in Uganda. Plus, they want to know me better too, so be ready with your favorite story!

Dr. Val has lived in Uganda for over two decades working with the livestock and sharing the Gospel. The Community Livestock Integrated Development Consultancy is a direct result of her work in the region.
